What is a “Virtual Tour” ?
Virtual Tours are interactive images which show a 360 degree field of view. Also known as panoramic images, they display an image as if the virtual tourist was standing in the middle of a room and turning around in a circle. They can look around, up & down and zoom in, giving a real feeling of “being there”. Visitors can even read comments left on “hot-spots”.
What can they be used for ?
Virtual Tours are a fantastic way to show potential clients or visitors around a meeting room, restaurant, wedding venue, hotel bedroom or chapel. Virtual tours can also be used by Estate Agents to give a unique perspective of a property, both inside and out.
What is involved ?
Using a special tripod and lens, we take a series of high resolution photographs around the field of view. We then use software to stitch the photos together to produce a very high quality image – up to 50 megapixels – which is then converted into the interactive image, scaled to your web site.
How much does it cost ?
A single virtual tour, including photography, post processing, generation of code for your web site and liaison with your webmasters costs from £180. Additional views or rooms, taken at the same time, cost from £40.
